Photographers have a choice; they can either present images as they actually see them or how they would prefer to see their environment. I prefer the latter, to present objects that we see in our daily travels in a new light. The beauty of a lone tree in a field of new snow, an old mill building that appears to be smiling, a table with chairs waiting for its next occupants. All mundane items that we may not notice as we rush about taking care of each days pressing business.
But maybe, after viewing some of my images, you’ll slow down or pause as you drive by the field of ferns with the early morning sun shining thru, if only just for a moment.
